Fifteen years experience as DOP on TV documentaries, features and many short campaign films for creative agencies, businesses and cultural institutions. A photographic eye with strong directorial and storytelling skills, who gets the best from onscreen talent.

Garry has travelled extensively with work across Europe, USA and Asia. His work has been shown by UK and international broadcasters and platforms including BBC, Channel 4, Netflix, History Channel, AppleTV, Amazon and more. He has filmed award-winning projects including Scotland, Slavery and Statues (BAFTA Scotland Best Single Documentary, 2021) and Everybody’s Child (BAFTA Scotland Best Factual, 2013), as well directing and producing 1hr BBC TV doc, The Brooklyn Scotsman (2020) and co-writing and producing 1hr drama, The Grey Area (2019).
